Overview
Pennsylvania-based Greater Hearts Human Services provides residential housing for people with intellectual disabilities. Founded by a passionate and caring visionary just a few years earlier, Greater Hearts had become tremendously successful and was ready for its next phase of growth.
As an organization, Greater Hearts had an excellent grasp of who they were, their purpose and their audience. But they didn’t feel that their original logo and brochure adequately conveyed an impression worthy of the level of service they provide. They were looking to create an image that would support their next level of growth.
Visually Communicating Compassion
Greater Hearts needed a new visual identity—one that conveyed their competence as well as the warmth of the customized care and personal touch for which they’d become known. After conducting a creative brief to gather ideas and guide the creative process, we designed three logo concepts and refined Greater Hearts’ final selection. With the new logo, we also established Greater Hearts’ official color palette. Next, we developed core collateral, providing copy and design for business cards, stationery, a brochure, and a website.

Since launching their new visual identity, Greater Hearts has continued their exceptional growth. Their refined look better represents the caring, professional organization they are. The clear visuals, distinctive color palette and consistent use creates a visual “hook” that that makes Greater Hearts memorable. This helps referring agencies, prospective resident families, and potential staff connect the organization’s name with their quality reputation.
