Overview

The Chestnut Hill Benevolent Association (BA) provides Christian Science Nursing services and training in accordance with the Christian Science church. When BA came to us they were having staffing concerns and were looking to grow their Christian Science Nurses Training (CSNT) program. Our engagement started with staffing consulting and the creation of a marketing plan and expanded from there.

Creating a Marketing Plan to Attract Students

We started with a kickoff meeting to get oriented, where we looked over our current marketing plan and materials. This helped us come up with ideas for what tactics to use and how to make adjustments. After creating the revised plan, we worked collaboratively with the staff at BA to allocate work. Consulting with BA on which tactics were best suited for the skills of their team members, and which were best to be outsourced, helped aid in the completion of these tasks. To help BA execute the plan, we planned and designed social and email campaigns to engage curious Christian Science Nurses. Along with the digital aspects of the plan, we designed flyers to advertise informational sessions about the program. These campaigns helped share more information about the CSNT program and answered any questions prospective Christian Science Nurses may have.

Special Projects

BA also requested our expertise in designing an Annual Appeal for their End of Year campaign. We managed design of the letter, donation form, insert, envelopes and organized the printing.

The BA’s website was also in need of an update. However, due to staffing changes, a whole new website was not possible. Our team conducted a website audit and proposed temporary changes that could fix some of the current issues they were facing. We designed two landing pages they could incorporate into their current website to better communicate important information and programs

Rebuilding the Team

With anticipated changes to the team, BA also requested Iris’ help in restructuring their marketing department. We consulted on organizational needs and how to staff for them. After discussing key skills and job levels, we wrote job descriptions, reviewed resumes, and participated in interviewing key candidates. BA ultimately hired our recommended candidate who then built out her team.
