United Way of North Carolina and New Jersey each operate their states’ 211 service, a free 24-hour information and referral hotline for matters ranging from hunger to disaster services.

After working with UWNC in 2018 when Hurricane Florence hit North Carolina to create an infographic demonstrating the service’s response in a crisis, Iris Creative developed a new infographic in 2020 to track the organization’s response to Covid-19. The graphic was updated bi-weekly during quarantine to reflect current status.

NJ 211 was fielding calls from their community as well, and while 211 services are similar, the needs are different from region to region. We developed a different graphic using the same concepts to reflect New Jersey’s response.

United Way International has strict brand guidelines, these projects both work within the structure while providing a unique solution for each organization.
